Hosted collaboratively by maoclub and sbsleepytom, the annual survival server Earth SMP Season 3 is officially live. Spanning 1 full month for ~20 core players, this event creates a player-driven micro-society featuring land claims, physical economics, and democratic elections.

🌟 Core Features & Gameplay Mechanics

1. 3000×3000 Finite World & No Fast Travel

• Strict Border: Centered at (0,0), bounded within ±1500 blocks in X and Z.
• Physical Travel Only: Fast-travel teleportation between towns (/t spawn) is disabled. Players must travel on foot, ride horses, sail boats, or construct paved highway networks.

2. 100% Physical Gold Economy & Bank Plots

• Gold-Backed Currency: 1 Gold Ingot = $1.00, 1 Gold Block = $9.00, 1 Raw Gold = $1.00.
• Anti-Inflation Policy: Mob and Piglin gold drops are disabled. All wealth must be mined by hand.
• Town Bank Plots: Depositing and withdrawing funds requires standing inside a designated town Bank Plot.

3. Towny Land Claims & Daily Upkeep

• Founding Settlements: Spend mined gold to establish towns ($100) and nations ($300).
• Daily Upkeep: Towns incur a daily upkeep cost ($0.50 Gold / plot). Unfunded town banks will decay into ruined land.

4. Weekly Democratic Elections (TownyElections)

• 7-Day Political Cycles: 4 full terms throughout the season. Any citizen can pay the entry fee, set policy slogans, and run for office.
• Ranked-Choice Voting: Ranked voting system automatically tallies votes and inaugurates the elected mayor.

5. BattleLock Combat & Contract Bounties

• 15s Combat Tag: Combat triggers a 15-second lockdown. Disconnecting spawns a 30s combat NPC that drops your full inventory if killed.
• Bounty Contracts: Place gold bounties on rival players. Successful assassinations award the gold purse plus the victim’s player head as a trophy!
